Wham! dethrones Taylor Swift and her single “The Fate of Ophelia” to take the top spot.

The duo have broken their own record to become the only song to get to number one on 6 separate occasions, making it the most successful single in UK’s chart history.

Last Christmas has set a new record in America too. The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for Dec. 13, 2025 reaching its highest U.S. chart position ever.
